14 Day Itinerary Cape Town / Garden Route
 

Days 1-6: The Western Cape

Upon Arrival you will be transferred to one of Cape Town's top Hotels, namely the Peninsula Hotel. Rich in history, with endless coastal and mountain scenery along with spectacular West Coast flowers which can be seen in spring are some of the attractions which make the Western Cape arguably the most beautiful place on earth.

Cape Town has so much to offer..... Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for awesome views of the Cape Peninsula. There are also ferries to and from Robin Island where the infamous Nelson Mandela spent 27 years. You may also just want to spend the day soaking up the sun on Clifton Beach

 

A Trip to the Cape would not be the same without a trip to the Cape Winelands. Explore the Westerns Cape's 3 most famous wine routes. A day tour to truly feast your senses enjoying some of the Cape's finest wines in breathtaking surroundings. The wine routes of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek have become legendary for the excellent quality wines and brandies they produce. Traveling along these three wine routes where the fertile green valleys are surrounded by magnificent mountain ranges, visit a minimum of 3 leading wine estates along the Wine Routes; all of them carefully selected for their scenic beauty, historical significance and superior wines.

  Days 7 - 14: The Garden Route

You will embark on a scenic drive down the entire Garden Route. This journey is estimated at approximately 7 hours however you may travel at your own pace.
The spectacular scenic beauty of the Garden Route makes it a highly recommended destination. The rich tapestry of indigenous forests, lakes, lagoons, waterways and rivers are bordered by a rugged coastline possessing magnificent beaches washed by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. The mild and equable climate provides the visitor with all year round enjoyment.

You will be staying at the internationally acclaimed Beacon Island Resort in Plettenberg Bay.Built on a rocky promontory jutting into the warm Indian Ocean, Beacon Island's setting remains unsurpassed. You may want to be taken out on a boat and will be guaranteed of seeing whales as close as humanly possible. Other attractions include the Cango Caves and the Knysna Lagoon to name a few.
