General terms and conditions applicable to all type of tours

1. BEL AFRICA is not the carrier or keeper of inns, hotels, refreshment, boarding or lodging houses. The company will arrange tickets, bookings, and reservations only as an Agent for its clients, to accept the same solely to these terms and conditions and those of each of the concerns with whom BEL AFRICA may make arrangements for its clients.

2. The present general terms and conditions are applicable jointly with the detailed description specific for each tour. Whenever applicable specific terms and conditions for each tour derogate the respective general stipulations of the present document.

4. A deposit of 10% of the total amount of the booking is payable immediately upon confirmation of the booking. A cumulative down payment of 50% of the total amount of the booking must be credited to BEL AFRICA’s account three months prior to the date of departure. The receipt of an additional 20% deposit is due latest 45 days before the date of departure.

5. Full pre-payment of the remaining balance (30%) of the contracted rate must be received at the latest 20 days prior to date of departure.

6. Payment instructions: in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, with Banque du Crédit Européen, BIC: CELLLULL, account number IBAN: LU34 0141 7335 6330 0000 in the name of BEL AFRICA SàRL, L-8188 Kopstal.

7. Cancellation policy:
Cancellation up to 90 days prior to departure date: full reimbursement.
Cancellation 75 to 90 days prior to departure date: 10% of the contracted rate will be charged.
Cancellation 30 to 75 days prior to departure date: 50% of the contracted rate will be charged.
Cancellation 0 to 30 days prior to departure date: 100% of the contracted rate will be charged.
Cancellations must be in writing by all parties concerned.

8. TRANSPORTATION DURING TRAVEL:
- For “self-drive” packages, road transfers is subject to specific arrangements with the client.
- For packages including drivers and/or guides, the vehicles will be adapted to the number of participants, will be luxurious, and the guide and/or drivers will be qualified and experienced.

9. NOT INCLUDED in the rates are:
- Drinks (except some welcome drinks when applicable), unless you have a fully inclusive tour as indicated in your personal itinerary.
- Phone cost, laundry services, tips, souvenirs and other personal articles
- Cost for Caddy, trolleys etc, except if mentioned explicitly
- Luncheons, except in the natural parks when full board is applicable
- All insurance.

IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT CLIENTS BUY APPROPRIATE TRAVEL INSURANCE FOR CANCELLATION, SICKNESS OR ACCIDENT, LOSS OR THEFT OF PERSONAL BELONGIGNGS AND FOR ALL OTHER RISK.

Although BEL AFRICA undertakes the usually necessary measures for the security and protection of the clients and their belongings, BEL AFRICA may not be held liable for the loss, cancellations, accident or sickness affecting the client during his travel.
